Trinity-St. Paul’s (TSP) Centre for Faith, Justice and the Arts is a vibrant community hub in downtown Toronto that has been serving the local and extended neighbourhood for more than 125 years. Today, we are home to 60 organizations – cultural, educational, religious, recreational, community and social service groups.

TafelmusikTafelmusik, Canada’s award-winning period instrument orchestra, was founded in 1979 and has long been renowned in North America and internationally for its distinct, exhilarating and soulful performances. Under the outstanding leadership of Chief Artistic Advisor Jeanne Lamon, C.M., it has excelled equally in music ranging from the baroque and classical eras and beyond, including adventurous cross-cultural reinventions of baroque classics. In the words of Gramophone, Tafelmusik is “one of the world’s top baroque orchestras.”The Tafelmusik Chamber Choir, specializing in baroque performance practice and vocal technique, was formed in 1981 to complement the orchestra. Under the direction of Ivars Taurins, the choir has been praised for its clarity and brilliance and has been described as “the best period-performance choir anywhere in the world…” (The Globe and Mail).
The Toronto ConsortThe Toronto Consort is Canada’s leading chamber ensemble specializing in the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early Baroque. Some of Canada’s leading early music specialists have come together to form the Toronto Consort, whose members include both singers and instrumentalists (lute, recorder, guitar, flute, early keyboards and percussion).
VIVA! Youth Singers of TorontoVIVA! Youth Singers of Toronto is a vibrant, innovative choral organization for children and youth, ages four to young adults.VIVA is comprised of five youth choirs: the Preparatory Chorus (ages 4-6), Junior Choir (ages 6-10), Main Chorus (ages 9-16), SATB Chamber Youth Choir (senior high school students, university age, and young professionals), and ECS, an entry-level training choir.Unique to Toronto, VIVA!’s programming culminates in the SATB Chamber Choir, and SATB repertoire is an integral part of each VIVA! concert. The Chamber Choir has performed under the direction of Helmuth Rilling; in a joint concert with the Master Chorale at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto; and as guests of the Orpheus Choir under the direction of (VIVA! Artistic Advisory Committee member) Robert Cooper. They perform one work with orchestra annually.
Annex MontessoriThe Annex Montessori is a caring community of children, parents and teachers. At Annex Montessori your child may start at 18 months in our toddler room and continue until 12 years of age in our Elementary classroom.

York Pioneer and Historical SocietyThe York Pioneer and Historical Society is the oldest historical society in Ontario. Since 1869, the York Pioneers have worked to fulfill the founders’ goal of “preserving the past for the future”.We own and operate Scadding Cabin, Toronto’s oldest house, now on the grounds of Exhibition Place; we hold a spring dinner and a fall bus tour; we publish and launch an annual journal of history articles.
Toronto Salsa PracticeThe Toronto Salsa Practice is a relaxed, friendly gathering of salsa enthusiasts. It’s an opportunity to practice stuff you’re not totally confident about yet, learn some new moves, and meet other salsa dancers of all levels. There is no formal instruction; instead, we help each other improve our dancing – or we just dance for fun. The TSP has existed, in one form or another, since early 2001. Since early 2002 it has been a regular event.
Toronto English Country DancersA volunteer-run, not-for-profit social dance group welcoming the community to share the joy of traditional live music and dancing. Dedicated to nurturing new talent, we hold traditional music sessions and musicians’ workshops, callers’ workshops, dance classes and special events as well as regular local dances. All welcome! No partner or dance experience is required.
Dancing With Carolyn!Dancing With Carolyn! offers dance classes to boys and girls between the ages of 18 months and 10 years old. All classes are led in a non-competitive, positive, and inclusive environment. We believe children’s dance classes should offer a balance of technique, creativity and play. Our highly qualified teachers use creative stories, imagery, and play to teach the technical aspects of dance.
Capoeira AngolaCapoeira Angola is an art form with African roots, developed in Brazil. Its ancient tradition and practice embody the principles of music, dance, and fight. Capoeira teaches physical strength, music, discipline, respect for self and others, concentration, and humility. Classes offered explore the movements, music, knowledge, culture, and traditions of Capoeira Angola. Axé!!!
Dancing With Parkinson’sA Toronto dance class designed by Sarah Robichaud for those living with Parkinson’s Disease that increases awareness of the body in stillness and motion. Come celebrate the spontaneity of movement through dance and live music. No previous dance experience required.
Meditation TorontoJoin us for our Sunday evening group meditation. Feel yourself transported to another realm by the beautiful chanting of sacred mantras, and breathing meditation. Two methods of meditation will be taught and practiced. One using the breath and another accompanied by beautiful music. A delicious vegetarian dinner will be served. You will leave feeling refreshed, renewed and satisfied. These gatherings are free of charge. No need to register, simply show up!
