Global Gossip Sunday June 14 at noon

On Sunday June 14th  you are invited to a conversation with Mike Karikpo from Oil Watch - Africa. Mike is an ecumenical partner of KAIROS and has recently accompanied church leaders on their trip to the Alberta tarsands.  Mike also comes from the same village in Nigeria as Bari-adoora Wiwa and is a member of the Ogoni people. Please join us in a conversation about oil exploitation both in Canada's north , in Africa, and globally. (This morning CBC hosted a conversation about Free Trade agreements, oil and gas exploitation, and resistance by the indigenous people in Peru.  )
