Worship and Faith Formation Circle

The Worship and Faith Formation Circle works closely with pastoral staff to provide creative and relevant worship services each Sunday - worship that nurtures, challenges and embraces diversity. Volunteers can become involved in the weekly liturgy by greeting people at the door, taking up the offering, serving communion, reading Scripture, leading prayers, creating banners, etc. If interested, please contact the circle convenor or a member of the Pastoral Staff team.

The Circle also works with the pastoral staff and lay leaders to provide opportunities for faith formation for all ages, to encourage members to offer their gifts of leadership in this process, and to offer care and oversight in this area of the congregation's life. 

The Worship Planning Group is a small ad hoc team of members interested in helping in the weekly planning of worship.  They meet with the Pastoral Staff and Minister of Music each Tuesday from 9:30 am to 11 am to reflect on the scripture for the coming Sunday, and to discuss the theme, hymns, prayers and other elements of the worship.  If you are interested in joining this team please speak to a member of the Pastoral Staff team.

The Children's Church is served by a group of 3 or 4 dedicated leaders and occasional volunteers who provide programmes each Sunday for children from ages 3 to 12.  Normally the children stay with the congregation for the first part of worship which includes their own special time.  Our goal is to help the children feel that they are an important and welcome part of the church family as they begin to explore their own faith.  For more information please contact a member of the Pastoral Staff.

Youth on Bloor is a cooperative venture of Trinity-St. Paul's with Bathurst United Church and Bloor Street United Church in which young people of roughly high school age explore and develop their faith and participate in the church by engaging in a variety of projects, notably several overseas trips in which the young people of our congregations encountered those living in very different situations.
