Hyun Hee Deborah Park – Interim Music Director is an accomplished composer, pianist, organist, conductor, and educator with international experience. She has performed formal concerts in Korea, Germany, Canada, and the US, and won international competitions which resulted in being invited to perform in Carnegie Hall.

Deborah completed her Masters of Sacred Music majoring in Choral Conducting at Emmanuel College, at the University of Toronto in May
2021. She has completed the Licentiate Diploma and the ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance from The Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto.

As a composer, she has been writing hymns, choral music and solo piano works, and chamber music, all of which are inspired by her life experiences in many countries. Her musical portfolio includes explorations of spirit, theology, philosophy, nature, and human relationships. Her academic research explores Korean musical traditions and Christian contextual theologies as resources for liturgy and liberation.
