Artists Wage Peace: Palestinian and Jewish Artists and Peace Builders

You are invited to this groundbreaking and timely two-day interfaith event organized by local artist Robin Pacific and the Middle East Working Group. Itis co-sponsored by Trinity-St Paul’s, Bloor St. and Bathurst United Churches, St. Thomas Anglican Church, Shir Libenyu Synagogue and the Women’s Mosque of Canada.

ARTISTS WAGE PEACE brings creative souls together to spread love and end conflict. Featuring Jewish and Palestinian artists and peace builders.

The program includes speakers (Jon Allen, former Canadian ambassador to Israel; authors Raja Khouri and Jeffery Wilkinson of The Wall Between: What Jews and Palestinians Don’t Want To Know About Each Other; Robbie Cohen on “A New Vision of Israel”), artists and musicians (Roula Said, Maryam Toller, Ronna Bloom, Samia O’Day etc) and peace building groups (The Parents Circle, Toronto Friends of Standing Together).

FREE but registration is required.

Catered meals are extra: Reserve by May 31 and prepay for lunch ($15) on Friday June 12 and celebratory dinner — Featuring Palestinian and Israeli chefs ($40) on Saturday June 13.

You can also bring your own lunch or eat at local restaurants.
